2013 – Australian Saloon Car Series – Winton Review

What a weekend it was up at Winton Motor Raceway, for Round 4 of the Shannons Nationals / Round 2 of the Dial Before You Dig Australian Saloon Car Series.

I only managed a handful of laps on friday, as I broke 3rd gear. Many thanks to Mark from Dial Before You Dig Racing, for the loan of the gearbox. You guys rock !!

Over the weekend, I was struggling to find pace, and was about 3 seconds slower than what I was doing last year, but I finished each race, and came home with a car in one piece, and a strong desire to get back out there, and do it all again.

Many thanks to my awesome pit crew Brad and Jackie. I don’t think I would have survived the weekend without your help. Also have to thanks Larry, Prim, Tim from Rowse Motors, Les Morrall, Mal Wood Automotive, Ace Car Removals for all your help and a special thanks Clarnette and Ludvigsen wines for kindly donating the wine for the winners on the weekend.
